C4L (Comping for Live)

Finally, a "Comping" feature in Ableton Live.

Comping is a process where you use the best parts of multiple takes and piecing them together to make one perfect take.

It is done by recording a number of takes on different tracks, and then each take is split into several phrases. The best regions are copied to a single track.

If you have M4L, this can easily be done. (Recording is done inside device)

• Drag and Drop device on your track.
• Insert c4lstart / c4lend Locators and Loop Markers 
• Select Path then Record.
• Select a recorded take and make it a Primary track.
• Loop/Solo/Play selected parts
• (Comp Up) the best parts to copy into Primary track.
• Export Primary track to a folder or Bounce in Place.
